The commercial interior design project for Roca Decors, located in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, was envisioned to reflect the brand’s refined identity while delivering both functionality and visual sophistication. The goal was to create a showroom space that would be elegant, welcoming, and effective in showcasing premium interior decor products—all within a design language that remained simple yet exuded a lavish appeal.

Client Vision
Mr. Sabin Roka, the client, requested a design that would allow the products to speak for themselves. The space needed to feel high-end and luxurious, without being overbearing or ornate. Clean lines, smart material selection, and thoughtful lighting were key to realizing this vision.

Design Approach
Spanning 2800 sq. ft., the layout was strategically zoned to guide visitors through different product displays while maintaining a cohesive visual flow. The design focused on clarity and openness, allowing the decor items to stand out against a neutral and elegant backdrop.

To achieve the desired aesthetic, we incorporated high-quality materials and refined finishes—including polished surfaces, soft textures, and carefully selected color tones. The use of warm, ambient lighting further elevated the overall mood of the space, creating a sense of calm sophistication and premium appeal.

Custom shelving, display units, and minimalistic detailing were employed to maintain a clean and uncluttered environment, ensuring that every product category was highlighted effectively. The balance between luxury and simplicity was critical—not only to reflect the brand ethos but also to enhance the customer experience.

The final result is a commercial interior that successfully blends functionality, elegance, and brand storytelling—a signature showroom that positions Roca Decors as a distinguished name in interior design and decor retail in Kathmandu.

In addition to creating a luxurious atmosphere, we also incorporated design elements to effectively showcase the showroom's products. This involved using lighting to highlight specific products and areas of the showroom and utilizing open shelving or glass cabinets to showcase the products.

Throughout the project, we were mindful of the client's branding and target audience, creating a space that reflected their identity and would appeal to their customers. We also ensured that the design was functional, taking into account factors such as traffic flow, accessibility, and safety regulations.
